I've discovered that the appropriate work buttons on my blogger dashboard do not appear in Safari, but do in Firefox. This is why I couldn't, for the longest time, figure out why other people could post links on their blogs and I couldn't. The damn button just wasn't there!
Germany is playing Poland this afternoon. I'm going with my peeps and backing Germany, but how do you negotiate the historical guilt on this one? (Or, perhaps more appropriately for me, how do I keep from posting horrible WWII jokes about it here?)
G. informed me the other day that when England plays Germany, the fans whistle the theme from _The Great Escape_.
