Yes, Role Models was good. Funny.

McLovin is particularly good. Strangely, I didn't think Jane Lynch was as good here as she had been in 40 Year Old Virgin or the Christopher Guest movies. Not that she was bad, but she didn't wow me.
I must admit, I've got little desire to see Quantum of Solace. It looks boring to me. I want my James Bond cheesy. Extra cheesy, please.

It's not boring. Definitely not cheesy, though. Lots of action. I guess one could argue that's boring because it's almost all action, though....
I'd advise you against seeing it, really. I think you'll just be disappointed.
I guess if they wanted to reenergize the series, why not go back to the Connery vibe, rather than making it just sort of dour.
Because they'd either have to make Bond an American or give George Clooney a British accent.
And hey, I think it's a better "dour" (or "serious") than when Timothy Dalton took over. I know they weren't really, but I always remember those movies as utterly humorless.
