Well . . .
I went to my conference, gave me paper, found out that I'd also been listed to chair a panel - so I also did that. Went to the site of the Boston Massacre (it's just really an alley). Also went to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, which is cool b/c they have huge painting of George Washington - like this one.
I finished Dick's Dr. Bloodmoney. Not very impressed. I know it's not cannonical Dick - I just read it b/c someone told me it was crazy. It was crazy, just not very interesting. I'm now onto the 2nd volume of The Civil War and Bellow's Dangling Man (solely b/c I was passing the Bellow section in the stacks and it was short).
I suppose I should find something to write. Someone just told me, and I generally think this is good advice, that I shouldn't worry about a book right now, but that I should work on getting an article into a really good journal. But I suppose it should be something new.
Does my other summer course really start in a week? Crap. I should do more work today, but at the moment I go in with K. when she goes to work at 8 - so I'm on campus from 8ish to 3ish before my class even starts - any work I have to do for it I can easily get done in that time, so I find it very hard to work on anything today.
