Man, since I drove like . . . 30 hours this break, I've been listening to alot of ESPN Radio. I listened to it everyonce in a while before, but now I've been listening to it everytime I'm in the car. Shit, it's like crack. It's just like the news media, but even less important than broadcast news usually is. People talk endlessly about sports issues that are really rather inconsequential. Today on the Dan Patrick show: Today's Poll: "Who should get more criticism? Farve for his four interceptions? Or Moss for his fake mooning at Green Bay?" What? Those aren't even the same thing. One is game performance, the other is extra-curricular. It's like those news stories, what is more important for our newscast? Serial killer or skiing squirrel?
But, in this case, while the serial killer may have some social relevance, this does not. It's awesome. More on this later.
I'm out like a LLUA (Little Lebowski Urban Achiever) to work on my syllabus.
