But here are some things I've been doing the last few days:
-- still moving random crap around.
-- doing the post-move-in cleaning.
-- not going to the garden because it's raining.
-- helping other people move.
-- watching the left-over cable at our place. It's really shitty cable, but WGN has "Magnum
P.I." on everyday. That's worth something.
-- watched part of _Better Off Dead_.
-- watched _Akira_.
-- reading _The Sandman_ comics.
-- meagerly working on my dissertation. Notice that "meager" doesn't mean "not at all."
-- watching baseball.
I think that's about it. Exciting times!
Oh, Taryn didn't tell you that she found this stuffed snowman/wine-bottle-holder that someone gave me a few years ago. I shoved it behind a dresser or something in her room hoping she would unknowingly take it. Damn! It was on the steps when I went to pick up more stuff.

oh, as if i'd forget that it was yours! i noticed that it had been casually left in a paper bag....
besides, i already have that weird oven mit from my aunt that looks like a christmas tree and has little bells on it.
today someone called the house asking for jay, then asked if i was his wife or mother. i told them that he had left the country.
But I see you did find my olives. HA!
