I've got a funny story today.
I just got done grading. Then I thought, "I wonder how many papers I have graded since I've been grading papers." I conservatively estimate that I have graded at least 800 essays in the last five years. I think a more realistic number is 1000, but let's be conservative. So 800. That's a lot, and it's not counting exams and exercises. Then I thought how much time I've spent grading in the last five years. I added some shit to some other shit, then multiplied it, then divided it. A conservative estimate: 11.1 days. Sweet.

Oh man, I'd say that's an EXTREMELY conservative estimate.
Dude, only 11.1 days? I'm with t: I think that's extremely conservative. Of course, you haven't been teaching as long as I have...
If I get the time I'll put the math up.
"I added some shit to some other shit, then multiplied it, then divided it."
This is, perhaps, the best methodological description I've ever read.
