Last week I met with Advisor Politics, then I met with Advisor Economy.
As I was in Economy's office, Politics walked in.
Economy: "I could see how some people might think that that could make you a . . . a . . ." [fumbles for word]
Me and Politics [simultaneously]: Me: "One-trick pony?" Politics [with one finger raised in a sudden gesture]: "One-note Johnny?"
Me and Economy, [simultaneously looking incredulously at Politics]: "???"
Economy [pointing at me]: "I was looking for 'one-trick pony' . . ."
Politics, [looking dejected]: "oh . . ." [then shrugs]
