Saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull the other day. It was o.k. I didn't feel cheated. It wasted Jim Broadbent, Karen Allen, and John Hurt, which was really its biggest crime. Not nearly as bad as I had been led to believe.
Just watched Word Wars, the documentary about Scrabble. It was o.k.

Ha. Somehow it just didn't seem bad. I agree that the plot wasn't very good, and that Jones in the Cold War didn't really work (it seemed those two big shots that outlined him in front of the mushroom cloud and the spaceship made him more anachronistic. It seemed like they were emphasizing the fact that he was old). And they explained nothing about the aliens. Were they pissed at Cate Blanchett b/c of hubris? Did she want too much knowledge? Were they just angry aliens?
