Bang the Drum Slowly.

It is a pretty good book. Sad. And you know it is going to be sad. But then at the end, it's ridiculously sad. The last line is devastating.

I had some of the good stuff blocked out, and I was going to post it here, but I forgot to, and I already returned the book to the lending library. So, I guess you'll just have to read it yourself.
